Thru the years, we have learned now, how to efficiently model your rotor. And its support substructure.



This is a complex gas turbine rotor, which required special mathematical reduction techniques in order to fit it to computer codes. A thermal gradient was also required, together with differential pedestal flexibility.

An experimental modal analysis allowed to validate this rotor model, in two ways: mode shapes and natural frequencies. 2% error was achieved.
